Bovine Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protien 2

During my Honours thesis I produce a number of trucation mutation of a recombinant bovine Insulin Like Binding Protien
bIGFBP2 to people in the know.

By chopping off the carboxyl end of the DNA sequence cloned into a plasmid and then expressing the gene in tissue culutre in monkey kidney cells.

I was able to show that after a certain amount of deletion that the protien was no longer functioning by binding to IGF-II like is is suppoed to.

The work was done in conjunction with the CRC for Tissue Growth and Repair in John C Wallace's lab at the University of Adelaide.
